Journal: Take me out of the bathtub and other silly dilly songs by Alan Katz, illustrated by David Catrow

At first, I did not understand the purpose of this book. But then after reading it I realized that the songs or poems in this book were not too silly, at least for me. I think there is always a purpose of doing something, so the author might have had something in his mind that this book can be helpful for children. I think the text in the book is very rich with vocabulary, though the pictures are funny. We could use this kind of book not only teaching songs but also we can use it for the purposes of improving the reading, writing skills of children. I have never thought that in the US children might be taught such things, and then I realized and compared it with my own culture or let us say with the way how we back home educate our students. I realized that why not to try this method back home and see what useful things we can get out of it.
