Journal: He's got the whole world in his hands by Kadir Nelson

I really liked this book. This book is about a spiritual song which is usually sung in churches. I guess this book can be used with the first or second grade students. Having children to look at the pictures in the book and singing this song along could be very interesting. The pictures in the book are good and it has a very interesting transition from one subject to another. Also, students might picture themselves as the character in this book and add more things to it by themselves.
